BRING
Employing narrative to introduce an eco-friendly system
OVERVIEW
Based on the concept of “making clothes out of clothes,” JEPLAN, INC.’s brand, BRING, makes clothes out of recycled polyester by collecting used clothes and breaking them down chemically. BRING’s circular economy model has received the Good Design Award – it solves issues of waste and CO2 reduction faced by the fashion industry. SIMONE oversaw the development of a movie and a pamphlet detailing how the system works. We toured plants and factories, capturing beautiful imagery in order to convey the manufacturing process. Our goal was to take a ‘narrative’ approach by interviewing people from different fields of expertise about their thoughts on the environment. Using motion graphics for technical terms, we sought to make the content easy to understand for people of all backgrounds, including students, the general public, and corporations.
